We are indebted to Ivan Miller, PhD, who founded the first psychotherapists’ guild in Boulder, Colorado.  Much of what we (the founders) have done has been influenced by his pioneering efforts.  Tom Sweitzer also provided critical consultation in our formative months.  The Guild was founded by: Ed Bialek, LCSW; Stephen Bittner, MD; Susan Nathiel, PhD, LMFT; John Ringwald, PhD; and Maria Tupper, LCSW, BCD.  The founders continue to administer the Guild as its Steering Committee.  The Guild’s Coordinator is Megan Haney; Deborah Elkin assists her in coordinating the Guild’s work.
